    About me

    Monday, March 19, 2007, 09:25 PM [General]

Well Im new to covenspace so I thought I'd write a bit about me and maybe some of you would like to add me to your friends :)

Well..my name is Cait, I am turning 19 on March 31st and I live in Melbourne, Australia.

Ever since I was about 12 years old in grade six at primary school I have been into witchcraft. Maybe even before that, as I can remember being about 7 years old and writing in my diary that I was a witch...even though I really didn't even know what it meant. I have always been interested in 'the unknown' ...my sister who is seven years older than me always had books lying around about witches, vampires, myths and legends etc.

My friends and I saw the movie "The Craft" and even though I knew most of it was make believe, it still spoke to me profoundly and I felt as if this was what I was meant to be.

I began buying books, candles, incense and reading as much as I could. I practiced drawing runes, I made a garden, did simple visualization exercises and spells. My parents and sister told me I was being stupid, that "none of it works" and would make fun of me - "Ooh are you going to cast a spell on me?"

Still I stuck to it and I am still going, still learning and really want to meet people in my area to perhaps start a coven with. Studying alone can be very lonely sometimes. I'm not really a fan of hierarchal covens with preistess' and priests...just a relaxed learning circle would be nice.

ANYWAYS....  Add me if you would like.

    Blessed Be !
